Opening Night, Downtown OKC. This outdoor festival has something for everyone! Start early with the Finale 5K race, or just wander through the area to experience the diverse activities, which includes The Children’s Area in the Civic Center. Food trucks and live entertainment will be everywhere, and the event culminates with a spectacular fireworks display over Bicentennial Park.
Skate Galaxy, 5800 NW 36th Street, OKC. Roll into the New Year with an evening of roller skating from 7 p.m. to 1 a.m.
Devon Ice Rink at Myriad Botanical Gardens, OKC, and Edmond Outdoor Ice Rink, 1501 West Covell Road, Edmond. Take to the ice on New Year’s Eve for skating under the stars.
Illuminations: A Northern Lights Experience in the Crystal Bridge, Myriad Botanical Gardens, OKC. Here’s one more reason to head to downtown Oklahoma City for New Year’s Eve. This stunning light display is truly awe-inspiring for all ages.
Dave & Buster’s, 5501 North May Avenue, OKC. From 5 to 8 p.m., this early evening celebration includes all the fun you can find, with unlimited video game play, as well as a plentiful buffet.
Andy Alligator’s Fun Park, 3300 Marketplace Drive, Norman. Spend the day with the family, with go karts, bumper cars, mini golf, a climbing wall, and more. Finish up at 9 p.m. with the balloon drop—early enough to get the kids home and a different celebration!
Tulsa Kids Stuff
Winterfest, 3rd & Denver, Downtown Tulsa. Imagine a skating rink larger than Rockefeller Center’s. Sprinkle it with food trucks and a festival of holiday lights, and you have the perfect place for New Year’s Eve!
Race into the New Year 5K & “Onesie” Fun Run, River West Festival Park, 2100 South Jackson, Tulsa. Pick up the pace as you head into 2019. This 5K running/walking race starts at 11:45 p.m. Both water and champagne stops are featured along the route. And you’re encouraged to come dressed in your favorite “onesie” or party attire.

Want to ring in the new year without the kids? You won’t have to travel far to spark your spirits.
New Year’s Eve Funkfest, The Criterion, 500 East Sheridan Ave, OKC. Spend the last night of 2018 enjoying the soul-funk music of Con Funk Shun, with Lakeside and Midnight Star.
Tulsa Grown-up Galas & Events
FlyingTee Golf, 600 Riverwalk Terrace, Jenks, OK. Live music, unlimited bay play, buffet, and champagne are waiting for you at this lively New Year’s Eve party, from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m.
Totally Awesome ‘80’s New Year’s Eve, Doubletree Tulsa Warren Place. Get on your high hair and don your Don Johnson suit and head back to the 1980’s. Party packages include buffet and party, or add an overnight stay with breakfast.
