Better Built

If you look closely at a framed Beacon home you will notice something different. On the exterior walls, those are not common 2x4’s. They are 2x6’s. This has three advantages.

1. Stronger Home - 2x6’s are structurally stronger than 2x4’s and who doesn’t want a home with more robust walls?

2. More Efficient - Using 2X6’s increases the depth of the wall by 50 percent. This means considerably better thermal efficiency because there is that much more air space.

3. Quieter Home - The added wall depth means much better soundproofing to make sure you won’t hear outside noise when you are inside your home.
