Parks in OKC
This 15-acre natural escape in the heart of downtown features beautiful gardens, seasonal activities, and events that are free and open to the public.
Explore nature and wildlife along 2.5 miles of woodland trails and in the Visitor Center where you’ll find live animals and a nature learning library.
There are so many ways to enjoy this large lake on the city’s central northwest side. Land lovers will appreciate the paved trails encircling the lake that are great for walking, running, cycling, and skateboarding. In the summers, water enthusiasts can jump right into kayaking, paddle boarding, sailing, and fishing.
A peaceful place to spend a few minutes or an entire day, this public park offers 70-acres of green space and engaging experiences including ornamental gardens, a 3.7-acre lake, children’s playground, water fountains, seasonal roller rink, dog park, performance stage, and more.
Parks in Tulsa
“Tulsa’s Riverfront Park” is quite an experience. There are more than 100 unique attractions, including an adventure playground, places to eat and relax, a boathouse, the water features of Mist Mountain and Charlie’s Water Mountain, sports courts, and much more.
Located in the Historic Snedden Mansion within Woodward Park, these beautiful grounds offer horticultural events and programs, gardening classes, outdoor classrooms, or just a serene place to stroll and soak up the sunshine.
There are so many opportunities within this botanic garden to appreciate the beauty of the season. There are currently six gardens surrounding a 7-acre lake, with plans to develop more. There are also exhibits and seasonal events, like Tiptoe Through The Tulips on April 2, 2022.
