Whether you’re into exceptional food, cool music, or enlightening art — or you want to experience it all — they have you covered. Here are our favorite date night spots in OKC and Tulsa! 

Oklahoma City

Broadway 10 Bar & Chophouse – Serving refined fare in a cozy, casual atmosphere, Broadway 10 impresses, not only with their wood-fired meats and handcrafted cocktails, but also with their near-panoramic views of the Automobile Alley cultural district. Reservations recommended.

Oklahoma City Museum of Art – If you’re looking for something interesting and new to do on date night, check out the gorgeous exhibits at OKCMOA. Current exhibits include Dale Chihuly: Magic & Light, Pop Art and Text, Perception and Technique in Abstract Art, and From the Golden Age to the Moving Image. The museum is open until 8 p.m. on Fridays and until 5 p.m. Wednesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays, and Sundays. 

Vast – Oklahoma City’s only AAA Four Diamond Restaurant, Vast serves fresh fare and cool cocktails on the 49th and 50th floors of Devon Tower in downtown OKC. The nighttime views are tremendous, as is the quality of the food, and the time you’ll have there. Reservations required. 

Tulsa

Duet – Duet in the downtown Tulsa Arts District effortlessly combines amazing food and jazz music into one unique experience and venue. Upstairs you can enjoy modern American fare with a fresh and vibrant menu, and downstairs continue indulging your senses with live jazz by some of Tulsa’s most talented musicians. Reservations required for dinner, the jazz club is open admission. 

The Tavern – A modern interpretation of the classic neighborhood pub, the Tavern offers world-class wines, craft cocktails, artisan beer, and upscale tavern cuisine in the Tulsa Arts District. Reservations recommended. 

Mi Cocina – This upscale Tex-Mex restaurant uses only the highest quality ingredients served in a warm and friendly environment with professional service. With both classic and reimagined Tex-Mex dishes, it checks all the boxes for a memorable meal. Reservations recommended.

Best Burgers in OKC and Tulsa

1) Flatire Burger

Known as “A Great Place to Break Down,” Flatire Burgers is where you’ll want to end up if your car ever loses a tire and you need somewhere to spend a couple of hours. Build your own burger to perfection that you can enjoy with 11 different dipping sauces while you play team trivia.

2) Tucker’s Onion Burgers

Tucker’s Onion Burgers focuses on maintaining the taste of authentic Oklahoma Onion Burgers with premium ingredients like regionally-grown ground beef, carefully-selected potatoes, and hand-dipped shakes. Never heard of an onion burger? It’s ground beef pressed with thinly shredded onions and it’s delicious!

3) Interurban

A feel-good restaurant with quality food, reasonable prices, friendly service, in casual surroundings… Interurban sounds like the perfect place to enjoy an Old Fashioned Burger or even the more daring the Flamethrower Burger.

4) Nics Grill

A tiny place with limited seating, open for only 3 hours a day, and closed on Sundays… you know the burgers HAVE to be good! Nics Grill has been featured on Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives and serves up a classic, mouth-watering burger!

5) The Cow Calf-Hay

Serving up always-fresh, never-frozen, Premium Black Angus Beef burgers, crispy French fries, and other delectable sides, The Cow Calf-Hay makes total sense once you figure out how to pronounce the restaurant’s name. (Hint: say it fast three times.) With options like the Juicy Lucy, you just know the burgers are going to be good.

6) Society

The pictures alone on Society’s website are enough to lure you in, but once you take a bite of their signature burger — with its thin, juicy patties, melted cheese, and handmade buns made to order — there’s no turning back.

7) The Garage

Nothing fancy about it – just a classic burger with mustard, pickle, lettuce, tomato and onion for a great price served in a cool venue called The Garage. But if you want to explore, try the Spicy Sriracha Blue or the The Green Chili One — your tastebuds will thank us (after they cool off).

8) Pops

If you’re traveling Route 66 through Arcadia, Oklahoma, you can’t miss Pops, nor would you want to! This iconic destination features a 66-foot tall pop bottle outside that lights up with multicolor LEDs at night, but it’s really on the inside that the head-turner. The Pops Burger, with its two beef patties and fried jalapeño and onion sticks, will have you traveling Route 66 more than ever before.

9) Ron’s Hamburgers & Chili

Wherever you are in Oklahoma City or Tulsa, there’s a Ron’s waiting to serve you a classic hamburger or chili meal in a jiffy. Hamburgers are prepared fresh and fries are cut daily and cooked in high-quality vegetable oil. Grab a Ron’s Special — a 1/3-lb patty loaded with ham, bacon, and fried onions — and a cold draft root beer, and you’ll be set for the entire day!

10) Johnnie’s Charcoal Broiler

Known for classic quality burgers, fresh cut fries, hand-battered onion rings, homemade pies and soups, and the ever-popular Johnnie’s Sauce, Johnnie’s Charcoal Broiler has been a local favorite since 1971. #8 on the menu is always a crowd-pleaser.

Just because you’re plant-based doesn’t mean you shouldn’t also enjoy the taste of char-broiled deliciousness. Just substitute ground beef for a Beyond Meat or Impossible patty, and you’ve got a plate of tastiness on your hands. Here are our meatless favorites in OKC:
